During his long career in the resort real estate industry, Mr Spence has established excellent relationships with leading international real estate developers, resort operators and hotel groups. Over the last decade he has also transacted over US$ 1 billion of real estate investments across the world.

Prior to joining Firstlight, Mr. Spence was the founder and CEO of Worldwide Solutions Group, a niche private equity house specialising in residential, resort and hotel real estate, with offices in the UK and USA. His career began working through the ranks to a management role in sales and marketing for Imperial Tobacco, Colgate Palmolive and Coca Cola.
